How to Uninstall Adobe Acrobat

 

End users will need to uninstall the current version of Acrobat Pro from their device in order to install Adobe Acrobat Professional 2024. 

 

Users with managed devices (Managed Desktops or Shared Client Services) can uninstall their current version of Adobe Acrobat by using the Acrobat Uninstall Utility that can be found in either Software Center or Company Portal (Intune). Admin rights on your computer are not required for either of these options.

 

Users with admin rights to their computer can uninstall by following instructions from Adobe (How to uninstall Acrobat).

 

How to Uninstall Acrobat via Software Center or Company Portal

 

1. On your device, search for either Software Center or Company portal (if your device has been migrated to Intune).

2. Locate "Adobe Uninstall Utility".

 

 

3. Select Install to uninstall Adobe — no admin rights required. Allow 3–4 minutes for completion of removal. Adobe shortcut will disappear from desktop.
