Uploading Teams Recording to Streams Classic from OneDrive
In August 2021, Microsoft switched the default end location for recorded Microsoft Teams meetings to OneDrive and SharePoint rather than having recordings directly saved to Microsoft Stream.Your recording is still shared with all meeting participants, and you can change and update permissions in OneDrive just as you would in Stream, but we recognize that many departments have built work flows for student and staff resource pages that revolve around Stream groups and channels.
While Stream will eventually connect directly to SharePoint and OneDrive at the moment the most full-featured Stream client is Stream Classic. Thus, you will need to download your video from OneDrive and upload it to Stream Classic in order to have it included with any content you already have in Stream.
