Information security is a shared responsibility at the University of Guelph and all members of the University community have an important role to play. Information technology (IT) assets, including data, applications and infrastructure, owned or managed by the University are protected through University policies, IT management policies, information security best practices, and compliance with applicable federal, provincial, regulatory or contractual requirements.
This Policy defines the roles and responsibilities of the groups and individual members of the University community with respect to the information security processes at the University of Guelph.
