How do I reset my Password?
Forgotten Password
There are two ways of having your forgotten password reset; through Self-Service Password Reset for users who subscribed to the free service or by contacting the IT Help Desk or CCS Help Centre for non Self-Service Password Reset subscribers.
Self-Service Password Reset Subscribers
With Self-Service Password Reset, you can have your password reset anywhere, anytime, day or night, without having to contact anyone and it's a free service!

Undergraduate Students
You may visit the IT Help Desk with your U of G photo ID to have your password reset. Alternatively, you may also contact the CCS Help Centre with your student number handy and answer a series of questions to verify your identity before your password is reset.
Faculty, Staff & Grad Students
You may visit the IT Help Desk with your photo ID, or contact your IT Admin or departmental contact (often your department's secretary or administrative assistant) who can request a password reset for you.
Open Learning Students
If you are not a University of Guelph degree program student and have paid the Office of Open Learning to obtain a University of Guelph email account, you can contact the Office of Open Learning at (519) 767-5010 or (519) 824-4120 x55000.
