OneDrive or OneNote Links Expiring

When sharing files from OneDrive, OneNote or other Microsoft Online products, you may have the option to generate a link to share. These links all expire after 30 days as a security measure. If you are sharing OneDrive files or folders with external users, you will need to generate a new link every 30 days for them to access it, or have them sign up for a free Microsoft account, which will give them more permanent access.

If you are sharing documents, files, or folders with internal users, you can share them directly using the other person's email address, and this share will exist until you choose to revoke it.
