OneDrive or OneNote Links Expiring
When sharing files from OneDrive, OneNote or other Microsoft Online products, you may have the option to generate a link to share. These links all expire after 30 days as a security measure. If you are sharing OneDrive files or folders with external users, you will need to generate a new link every 30 days for them to access it, or have them sign up for a free Microsoft account, which will give them more permanent access.
If you are sharing documents, files, or folders with internal users, you can share them directly using the other person's @uoguelph.ca email address, and this share will exist until you choose to revoke it.
